In the quaint Zona Quinta Camacho of Bogota, the Mordida Bistro is a concept-driven restaurant served up in two well-attended dining rooms, one upstairs, one down, and on the shady terrace along the tree-lined streets of this upscale residential neighborhood. Take a walk around afterward and you will be astounded by some epic street art in the vicinity. Quinta Camacho, also know as Zona G, features lovely Tudor Revival homes, many of which have been converted to fine restaurants and other businesses.

Led by Spaniard Daniel Pedrosa, the young chefs at Mordida Bistro believe in an informal, rustic kitchen using locally sourced ingredients. They are creative and use intense flavors, something often overlooked in Colombian cooking. The restaurant, styled as a contemporary bistro, offers excellent food and service at a comfortable price.

However, the smart money is on lunch at Mordida Bistro. It seems to be popular both with the upscale business and shopping crowds and with the visitor market. As such, there is a hustle in the place which always makes for a fun atmosphere. But no worries — walk-ins are welcome.
