How To Make a Caipirinha

  1. Slice a lemon into 12 wedges or so
  2. Add two heaping teaspoons of sugar and mash together into a mixture
  3. Add a jigger full to the brim of caña (white rum)
  4. Add 3/4 cup of chopped-up ice (not too crushed)
  5. Mix together well, careful to keep some ice chips intact
  6. Drain into a glass and serve, scooping some ice and lemon bits on the top if you are the casual type. If not, how about a lemon wedge on the side of the glass…
